things that are cool....( like I know)

Yeah well there Diane....
caught the Lucero( http://listen.to/lucero) show at the Parish this past weekend GREAT friggin band....If you like Slobberbone or the Drive By Truckers you probably need a bunch of Lucero records.
Moonlight Towers opened ...super great too.
The vocals were KILLAH...
go see 'em.
ALSO on the Cheap-O tip I got the Alejandro Escovedo Cd "Gravity" ( $7.95 used...sweet....which has been re-released as a double CD ( studio /live) and it has a TON of the tracks from the Por Vida CD go get this and understand the artistry.
Steve Bruton was the Producer on this record and he talks about how proud he is of it ....He's got a right...
BTW...Jon Dee Graham is releasing his new CD "The Great Battle "
which was produced by Charlie Sexton http://www.newwestrecords.com/ Tuesday and will be in Houston on KPFT with Christi at 2ish and at Cactus Records around 6:30 with a CD release bash at the Continental Club at 11:00 ish GO!!!!!!!!!!!!
and speaking of New West Records...Buddy Miller has joined the ranks of one of my favorite labels and is releasing a new CD any day now as are the DBT's!
whew.....
on a more selfish note got my 1st international email from Italy...as far as this site is concerned....feel pretty good about that...
been listening to :
Spoke Sin Wheel (demo)
Rhett Miller - The Instigator
Lyle Lovett- Road to Ensenada
Por Vida-A tribute to Alejandro Escovedo
Reckless Kelly - KLBJ Live
saw the Bodeans play last weekend ..last time I saw them they opened for U2 on the Joshua Tree tour...whoa.
Great Great show....
oh yeah Spoke Sin Wheel changed the name but not the music Blackwater Gospel http://www.blackwatergospel.com/ ...look for the single 6 Down any second now..my fave tune of 2004 so far.

It's all new and shiny

It's your friendly neighborhood Admin guy here, just letting everyone know that reh is all set-up to invade your space anytime he feels like now that MovableType is here.

What's MovableType you ask? Well, head on over to Gregg's post to learn more of the technical mumbo-jumbo.

What's important is that reh can now post whenever, wherever he wants - even if it's just to share a quick update about his most recent open mike night experiences. So, strap yourselves in and hold on as it's about to get fun around here.
